Former ASC President Dr. John O. Hunter passes away

“Dr. Hunter led the college during such an important time. He started the groundwork of what we are today with the development of bachelor’s degree programs and the building of the Student Development Center, which is so appropriately named after him. I am honored and humbled to follow in the footsteps of leaders like Dr. Hunter who are cornerstones of what Alfred State is today.” Dr. Steve Mauro

Kishan Zuber named new VP of Enrollment Management at ASC

Juneteenth - 2023

On June 19, 1865, enslaved Americans in Texas were told they were free. Juneteenth, a celebration of this event, has long been celebrated by the African American community and was signed into law in 2021.
