The Alfred State College (ASC) Agriculture and Veterinary Technology Department recently held a successful Showmanship Competition at the college farm. Students showcased horses, goats, and dairy cows.
Spencer Peavey was honored with the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service and Roxanna Sammons was presented with the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Classified Service.
Lawrence “Ed” Burns, Alfred Station, NY, SUNY Distinguished Teaching professor, Mathematics/Physics at Alfred State, was honored recently for his 45 years of service at the college. He received a certificate and a college pocket watch to commemorate the occasion.
