Alfred State Interim Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Afua Boahene and Coordinator of BIPOC Scholars and College Transition Specialist Dr. Brian Saltsman celebrated and educated the community about Juneteenth at the Alfred Farmers Market on Sunday.

Alfred State’s Sandy Burdick, Timothy Dickerson, Daniel Foster, and Dan Jardine were honored with Pioneer Awards at the annual Recognition Celebration.
Alfred State Director of Accounting and Controls Peter McClain and Professor and Coordinator of the Construction Management program Dr. Reza Yadollahi were the recipients of the Leadership through Civic Engagement award.
During the Alfred State’s annual end of year celebration, the college celebrated numerous members of the community for milestones in their years of service.
