ASC ranked top five in US for students seeking several in-demand majors

With an emphasis on hands-on, real-world learning, Alfred State College students in the School of Applied Technology are well prepared for the jobs they want after only two years of study.

Alfred State to host “Farm to Table Dinner” Sept. 24

The cost of the dinner is $17 per adult and $10 for children 10 and under.

Sea and Shore dinner set for Feb. 14

Set for 5-7 p.m. Feb. 14, the dinner is open to the public and will take place at The Rig, which is located inside the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus. The cost of the meal is $25 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under. No reservations will be accepted.

ASC students place first and third in gingerbread house competition

Showcasing their holiday spirit along with their baking and decorating skills, Alfred State College students took first and third place in the College category in the annual Niagara Falls Culinary Institute Gingerbread Competition. 

Classico Italiana dinner set for Nov. 13

Classico Italiana dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5-7 p.m. at The Rig located inside the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus. Cost of the meal is $17 for adults and $8 for children 10 and under.

Seafood buffet at Refinery Restaurant March 29

The menu will include Caribbean conch chowder, clams, oysters, mussels, calamari, crab stuffed mushrooms, smoked salmon, crab legs, shrimp, fried fresh cod, and more.

The menu will include jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp etouffee, southern-fried chicken, red beans and rice, muffuletta and po’boy sandwiches, collard greens, king cake, pecan pralines, beignets, and more.
