Bennett and Peavey join the Educational Foundation Board

The Educational Foundation of Alfred, Inc., a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of Alfred State College (ASC), recently have added Amy Bennett and Spencer Peavey to their board.

Oktoberfest buffet to be held October 3

The Culinary Arts department will host an Oktoberfest buffet style dinner on Oct. 3 at Alfred State’s Wellsville campus.

September 11: Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance

Today we honor and remember the almost 3,000 people that lost their lives during the attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001. We also remember the heroic efforts of first responders that risked their lives answering the call.

University Police to host the International Save a Life Tour on Sept. 12

“It is great to have The Save a Life Tour return to campus. There are consequences of distracted or impaired driving and this program gives participants reminders and education on the importance of safe driving. I encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity.” Chief of Police Jeff Wilcox
