ASC student awarded scholarship from New York State Court Reporters Association

The New York State Court Reporters Association has recently awarded Alfred State student Dana Schaaf with a $500 Horizon Scholarship.

Schaaf, a court reporting and captioning major from Astoria, was one of just six students to have received the scholarship, which helps defray the costs associated with tuition, books, and/or supplies. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have met a number of requirements, including, among others:
