Seven to represent Alfred State at Skills USA National Championships

Seven Alfred State students will represent the college at the National SkillsUSA Championship in Atlanta, GA.  The competition takes place June 24-28.

Alfred State to compete in “The Great Race”

“The Power Wagon gets so much attention. We hope to move from Kentucky to Maine with minimal problems. The students this year focused on getting the truck back together. We really built it to make it reliable. It has to drive 2,300 miles all the way up the east coast.” Caryl Koch

We were tasked with trying to figure out a farm's biggest areas of improvement and make a presentation the next day to a panel of judges, which required a lot of brainstorming, creativity, and teamwork.
