“I wanted to work with animals, and that feeling has stuck with me my whole life.”
She also knew she wanted to find a great program, and with Alfred State’s veterinary technology degree considered one of the top, it was an easy decision—especially after she saw the campus. “As soon as I came to visit, I loved how open and picturesque it is, yet all my classes are close together. It feels like part of the larger community.”
Although leaving home was hard, Jessica found a community of support at Alfred State. “It was a big change, but the support I’ve found on campus has really helped me open up.”
