Computer Labs
Alfred State Technology Services offers many ways for students to stay connected across campus, including the Hinkle Library computer lab, residence hall mini-labs, and curriculum specific labs.
The Hinkle Library has a general access computer lab that is equipped with both black/white and color Cannon Image Runner printers.
Technology Services also maintains mini-labs located in each of the residence halls across campus. These mini-labs each contain two computers for the buildings’ residents to use. Access to the dorm mini-labs is controlled by the Residential Director of the building.
Additional curriculum specific labs are located across campus and contain software relevant to each curriculum and can be accessed using a student ID card.
Use of all computer labs on campus is governed by lab rules and the Campus Computing Policy. Please contact the Computer Help Desk, phone 607-587-4357, if you need assistance finding a computer lab with the appropriate resources for your project.
